Cuddle Pockets

Last week we had a request from another ambulance service who would like to stock our cuddle pockets for early loss babies to be transported to the hospital. They would like 1200, yes you read that correctly 1200. We have started a new challenge. They are knitted, crochet and sewn. If you would like to help with this please join our  members page.

February Challenges

As you know we like to set monthly challenges, here are February challenges. Some chicks have a small egg placed inside while others are stuffed. Doing them this month gives time for them to be sent out to children’s wards for Easter. The twiddle mats are requested for dementia patients. November Challenges

Wow! wow! wow! What can I say? The November challenges once again were so well supported. The sewing challenge was complete in just 13 days which meant we had a second challenge for the sewers. The newborn hats almost reached 1000 while the wiggly bags smashed the 1000 mark and the port pillows went over the 500 set. The small hole blankets take a long time to complete so 55 is another fantastic achievement. Well done to our members, you are brilliant!
