June Challenges Update

Every month our members can participate in a voluntary knitting, a crochet and a sewing challenge.

In June we decided to make a head start on our preparation for World Prematurity Day in November by making Purple items.

We broke every target that we set and are overwhelmed by the amazing support from our members.



Knitting Challenge - we asked our members to make purple teddies and initially wondered if we could hit a target of 200 bears ..........

Our total at the end of June was 304 bears! Amazing!!






Crochet Challenge - we asked our members to make purple hats and initially wondered if we could hit a target of 300 hats .........

Our total at the end of June was 1540 hats.  Incredible!!




Sewing Challenge - we asked our members to make purple bunting and initially wondered if we could hit a target of 100 strings of bunting ......

Our total at the end of June was 134 strings of bunting! Fabulous!!


I'm sure you will agree that we are incredibly lucky with the amount of support we get from our brilliant members.
